On July 5, Deputy Consul General Xu Haiyuan led a working team to Marlborough to provide on-site consular services.

With the assistance of volunteers from the Marlborough Chinese Community Association, the working group processed applications for dozens of overseas Chinese on the spot, including passports, travel documents, and pension eligibility verification for overseas residents. The team also offered one-on-one consular advisory services, which were well received and praised.
During the visit, the working team also organized a special lecture on preventing online and telecom fraud under the theme “Safe Living Abroad, Consular Protection with You”, and participated in a reading club event held by the Marlborough Chinese community.
