On 20 September, Director Sha Long of the Consular Section and Deputy Consul Cui Pengwei of the Bilateral Affairs Section of our Consulate conducted an on-site service in Dunedin. They processed more than 60 applications including passport renewals and pension eligibility submissions for overseas Chinese in the Otago region, and provided in-person consultations on consular matters.

With the active assistance of Jiang Jiacheng, President of the Otago Chinese Association, and volunteers, the event proceeded smoothly in a warm atmosphere. Participants remarked that the Consulate has responded to the needs of overseas Chinese. The mobile consular service allowed them to feel the care and warmth of the motherland, and they expressed hope that such convenient services would continue.
